Pilot Films is a professional video production company based in Tauranga and Auckland. Specialising in commercial film and video productions, event videos, wedding videography, interviews, documentaries, product teasers, hype reels, explainer videos, instructional videos.
We travel work throughout New Zealand and internationally, including Bay of Plenty Wide, Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Queenstown.
We offer destination weddings include Bali, Fiji and Rarotonga and worked overseas on commercial and documentary projects in Thailand, UK, Australia and the USA
We have two very experienced ex-TVNZ DP's available for our Auckland clients, two experienced DP's for our Tauranga and Hamilton clients, a TVC producer, and studio/syke locations in Auckland and Tauranga available at discounted rates.
For more cost-effective video options we have seriously good in-house expertise which reduces normal production costs massively. The team includes:

PAUL READ
I've been involved in film-making for over 20 years. I started as an actor, working in film, stage and TV, before completing a Masters in Business and embarking on a corporate career in senior management. Making movies remained a hobby and passion throughout this time. Today, I work full-time following my passion as a professional filmmaker - creating remarkable films for clients with creativity, inspiration and flair.
Using high production values and professional cinematography techniques, I focus on telling the story - because in film, the story always comes first.
My time in the corporate world has been very useful because I bring to clients a grounded understanding of business, marketing and commercial strategy.
