This short film was produced for Olivia as part of her Make-A-Wish New Zealand experience. Olivia, who has cancer, wished to have her own films made — and Pilot Films was honoured to help bring that wish to life.

Olivia and the Theme Park Bullies is one of two short films created for Olivia, giving her the experience of being a filmmaker and the star of her own story. Make-A-Wish New Zealand grants wishes for children and young people with critical illnesses, creating life-changing moments and lasting memories.

This project is a reminder of why we do what we do. Film has the power to inspire, empower, and bring joy — and we are proud to have played a small part in Olivia’s journey.
